When making decisions, I try to step into the shoes of family members and I ask myself, "Is this what I would want for my mother?" If the answer is NO then the answer is No for my client as well. I encourage and practice this with my caregivers as well so that they are stronger decision makers. It is really simple.
I would not want anything but the best for my family and I am certain anyone calling for assistance feels the same way. The practice of following the Golden Rule is contagious. It's one of those life lessons that applies in all aspects of our lives and certainly is appropriate when providing care to someone who may be unable to care or speak for themselves. I feel compelled to lead and inspire others through my agency to provide the a level of care that is not only nurturing to one's needs but compassionate as well.
The vision and goal of the management staff are to provide high quality services by competent, caring professionals who possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform care giving duties that enhance and enrich the lives of the clients they serve.
